18 Ways to Upcycle and Reuse Tights and Leggings

Leggings and Tights; for some, they are the same thing, for others, they are different. No matter which team you belong on for this argument, we can all agree that they wear out, stretch out and get rips in them for both adults and kids and it seems like such a waste to just throw them in the trash. I hate throwing away things that can serve another purpose and this has gotten me to the verge of hoarding on occasion when it came to glass jars and plastic containers.

In any case, rather than chuck a perfectly good pair or leggings or tights in the trash because of one little hole or a fit issue, I would rather get artsy and craftsy with them, so I went on a quest to find some of the coolest ways to repurpose, reuse and upcycle leggings! Here are 18 ways to upcycle and reuse tights and leggings that I hope you find useful.
