Put a few bats in your backyard– If you’re really looking to make your yard mosquito free, you’re going to love this next one. Smoke away the mosquitoes– Smoke is supposed to help deter mosquitoes from biting. Maybe a bonfire is also in the works. Sometimes it is whatever it takes to get rid your yard of those mosquitoes. And I’m thinking a bonfire doesn’t sound too bad right now.
Plant some mosquito-repelling plants and herbs– Planting herbs and plants such as citronella, lemon balm, lavender, peppermint and basil can naturally repel mosquitoes from your yard. Try planting some in post near where you like to sit such as a balcony or patio.
