Probiotics-I am sure you have heard the term before. They’re not a new thing or even a new buzzword. What is new for me is my recent diet change. While I have tried to always follow a diet that is low carb due to my diabetes, in the last couple of weeks, I also switched to following a diet called flexitarianism. In fact, I have a blog in the works for it called The Flexible Vegetable. That’s how committed I am to this new life I am creating. ANYWAY, I started taking probiotics shortly after I started this journey because I had noticed that my bowels were none to happy with me for all the fiber I was now getting and since I changed up the game of what I am eating, there has definitely been some unhappy grumblings in the tummy. I had heard that probiotics also have other value in the body and I was super excited to try Dr Ohhira’s and see how my body changed in the month I took them. Why I started Taking Probiotics
Let’s look at some of the benefits of Dr Ohhira’s probiotics* first.

Some noticeable differences I took note of after I started Dr Ohhira’s Probiotics
By day 5, I noticed a bit more energy. i don’t usually drink coffee, but I noticed I didn’t need anything (including my organic energy drink) that day.
By Day 10, I noticed my skin looked like it was more radiant. I wish I would have thought to take a picture on that day, but I forgot!
By Day 13, My stomach issues seemed far less severe. I had always suffered from lots of bloating and gas and It started to slowly drop off and by day 13, I was noticeably better.
By Day 24, I could tell a noticeable difference in how much better I was sleeping. I felt more rested in the morning and for me, this was a big deal since I suffer from chronic pain. Obviously, the Dr Ohhira’s Probiotics don’t help with pain, but they did help me get more restful sleep.
I am going to continue to take these because I am basically free from the gas that has plagued me for YEARS. I can’t believe how much less bloated I feel. I am also excited to see how they help boost my immune system as we head into fall and cold season starts.
