If you are looking for nails that look great for the fall, this gold tipped nail tutorial will help you achieve a simple, yet fun look.
As always, start with clean nails. It is very important to have clean nails so your polish stays on well. If you need help applying polish that looks good every time, make sure you check out my tutorial on applying polish.
For this look, I used a “Terra Cotta” shade and Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant in shade “Golden Opportunity”.
Start by painting your nails with the Terra Cotta shade. Allow to completely dry.
Second, using a brush that is not heavy with polish, and a rolling motion, start at one end of the nail tip and gently roll your nail under the brush to form the gold tip. Don’t move the brush, move your finger. This will ensure a straight line and a nice even curve.
Finish with a clear topcoat.
Since today is Thanksgiving, this nice brown/gold shade will fit in lovely with the lovely fall colors. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Yours! Don’t forget to come back and check out my post tomorrow on how to use up that leftover turkey in ways that blow a regular turkey sammie out of the water!
Oh, I had no idea that’s how you create the curvy area on the tips of your nails! I can’t wait to try it! Thanks!
