Since trying to go greener this last year, I admittedly have been reluctant to try some switches with products I have relied on for years. One of these was laundry soap. I was worried the organic kind would not get my husband’s dirty, greasy work clothes clean. I just couldn’t bring myself to take the risk with the cost of products such as these.
I was so happy when I was given the opportunity to try Green Shield’s organic “Elite Care” Lavender Laundry soap.
First, let me say that we do not have a washer and dryer here. We are forced to drag our dirty clothes to the laundry mat. I have found that laundry mat washers and dryers do not do as well as some of those newer washers/dryers.
I was pleasantly surprised by the awesome scent of the soap. It did not smell like that fake lavender scent one often encounters. It literally smelled just like our lavender plant.
I used the soap to clean everything from dedicates to my husband’s dirty work clothes. It worked absolutely well on all of it. I was actually shocked by how well it cleaned my husband’s work pants. He has khaki work pants and the bottoms of the leg are forever grungy. We have tried other products and pre-treated them and not ever had theses results!
I wish I would have been wise enough to take photos at the laundry mat, because the difference is astounding! I have 100% confidence in this product!
