Knots in your hair are no fun in the morning or after you get out of the shower-even more so if you have a tender scalp. My hair actually is very hard to brush. Around this time last year I actually cut it from lower back length to just below my chin because it was such a struggle to brush it, I would actually break down and cry and I ended up going through my share of combs and brushes with broken handles. My poor daughter had the same problem, so she asked that her hair be cut short as well.
Even though it has been a year since I cut my hair, it is now back to about shoulder length and it is getting to be the same old struggle again. I was dismayed when I came to the realization I may just have to live with shorter hair. The funny part about this? I don’t hardly ever use heat on my hair, and I condition it all the time. I am just “blessed” with this course hair texture combined with easily-knotted fine hair. Don’t ask me how that happens 
It was such a blessing to be given the opportunity to review the Knot Genie. It it a unique shaped brush that honestly reminds me of a brush for a pet, but this is not just a pet brush marketed to humans! This brush is a miracle for people like me! It has two different sized flexible bristles that detangle like no other!
The first time I used the Knot Genie, I tried it on dry hair, which for me is impossible to get through with an ordinary brush of comb in that state. I really wanted to put it to the test! To my complete and utter amazement, it did it’s job with absolute perfection! I was absolutely stunned when it just untangled with ease and I did not have to wince with every stroke. I tried it wet the second time and it was as if I had soft hair that never tangles! I have also noticed that my hair in general is not as course as it used to be. I think this is the answer to my prayers! I hated my morning routine because of the painful brushing. Now I know it doesn’t have to be that way!
