This is the perfect item to review for someone like myself. I have large breasts, or what some would refer to as “full-figured” and a terrible time trying to find bras that are functional and comfortable.

I am a huge criticizer of bras to begin with, having tried many different brands and styles. There are some key things I can’t stand when it comes to bras:

• Shoulder straps that dig in and do not stay in place
• The dreaded spillage of boob matter out of the tops and sides
• Any clasps that dig in
• Under-wire-I just hate it!

You can size your bra on the Leading Lady website to find exact measurements. It seems I am a 44H. I ordered a Front Closure Leisure Bra even though I generally stay away from front closure bras because they seem to stick out in the front and show through clothes, but I was willing to give it a try.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Front Closure Leisure Bra from Leading Lady was not like the other front closure bras I had tried in the past. The closure was not noticeable under clothing and stayed flush with the bra.

Some other points I liked about the Front Closure Leisure Bra from Leading lady are:

• The shoulder straps were wide and comfortable. They stayed in place all day and did not dig in. (please note that due to my breast size, I have permanent grooves in my shoulder from bra straps. This is not due to the Leading Lady bra)

• The color of the bra was excellent. I appreciated that I found a bra that is not the standard black, nude or white that a full figured woman like myself often gets as her choice

• I was pleased by the back. The style was supporting, smoothing and comfortable. It did not ride up or itch.

• The Leading Lady Front Closure Leisure Bra featured shimmery fabric. It added a nice feminine flair to my bra as did the pleats in the front. They were a nice touch.

• The sizing was true to order.

Some things I did not like about the Front Closure Leisure Bra from Leading Lady were:

• The fabric was not breathable. I get rashes under my breasts because of their size alone and I need a very breathable fabric to help prevent this. Leading Lady does offer a cotton option in this style and that would help with this problem.
• The straps were not adjustable. I was stuck with the amount of support and it was not very good. This is a great bra for sleeping in and maybe lounging around the house,(hence why it is probably called the “Leisure Bra”) but not much else. The support was not that great overall.
• The bottom of the bra tended to roll up. This was uncomfortable.

This bra would be excellent for nursing because it easily stretches aside and it has a front closure.
