It feels so good to be back and doing what I love-Blogging and doing my makeup. It’s amazing how just a little makeup can make a woman feel alive again.
I was given the opportunity to review for a wonderful company named Mia Mariu!
Mia Marui is a a makeup line that I find to be superior. I tested out 3 of their products; Luminous Lip Gloss, Loose Mineral Shadow Liner and the Petite Detail Eye color Brush #18.
First I tested out the Luminous Lip Gloss in color ‘Romance’. I loved how it was non-sticky. That is one of my pet peeves with many lip glosses. I hate feeling like my lips have some sort of ‘goo’ on them. I found the formula to be lightweight, and add a nice shine for the dewy look that I love. There was very little shade to the gloss, but I like it that way. I found that it had good staying powder and even had a pleasant scent.
I used the Loose Mineral Shadow Liner as a normal shadow for my eyes. I applied it with the brush I got from Mia Marui. I was very impressed with the velvety feel of the product and the way it glided on my eyelids. I found it to be non-cakey, which I loved and I liked that it had the perfect amount of shine and luminescence to it. I thought the color was spot on and did not feel like I needed to apply many layers to achieve the amount of shading I wanted. This color I chose was called ‘Durazno’ and I loved that it gave me a great day look without feeling heavy. The brush was perfect for application! I was a little disappointed by the size of the product. The pot the Mineral Shadow Liner came in was tiny but I can see that it goes a long way.
Mia Marui not only sells these products but also a skin care line for anti-aging and makeup removal. I also noticed on the site that they sell nutritional supplements for beauty. At Mia Marui, they believe that beauty starts from the inside out. I have found this to be true myself. I love that their products feature healthy botanicals and nutrients so you are not just wearing makeup-but looking and feeling your best!

That’s what I think too! I seem to sit around in my comfy clothes most of the time and when I actually get dressed for the day I feel so much better
