Montana is so beautiful, and in my opinion, so are the people in it because they have just beautiful souls. Recently, my husband and I got some photos taken in the park. I admit, I was nervous I would not look right because although people tell me I am photogenic, I have a hard time believing them because they may see one picture that happens to look right out of 50 that I have a double chin in. 
I think what makes a good photographer is not only the ability to capture moments or help people pose correctly, but to make them feel at ease and comfortable. Jen at Mountain Pearl Doula & Photography does just that. Although I know Jen, and her kind spirit, I was still very nervous. She put both my husband into a state of comfort and we even had a blast doing the pictures. I loved that she let me come up with ideas for poses and backdrops, but also came with some ideas of her own.
I cannot tell you how happy we are with our pictures! I can honestly say, I loved every one of them. Of course I had some favorites, but was very pleasantly surprised that each photo was done with such professionalism and absolute beauty.
This one was my favorite from the session. I just love how natural it looks.
Later on, she took some pictures of us in the grass and I loved this one as well. In fact, I am getting it printed on a canvas for an upcoming review.
Jen at Mountain Pearl Doula & Photography doesn’t just do couples. She also photographs families, engagement, event, maternity & senior portraits. And, because she is a Doula as well, she does newborn and birth photography. Jen will also be taking appointments for Doula services in spring 2013.
