I have reviewed Mr. Green products before, most recently the Cat Litter Box Deodorizer, and I was extremely impressed. I was so thrilled to review another of Mr. Green’s products.
This time around, I am reviewing Mr. Green’s PDT treatment. The PDT stands for “Pipe, Drain and Trap”.
Mr. Green’s products are so amazing. They actually have changed my mind in a lot of ways when it comes to my attitude towards natural cleaners. It is amazing to me how a natural cleaner can do better than the chemical ones I am used to. Mr. Green’s PDT is no different.
Mr. Green’s PDT maintains a clog free system, eliminates odors, cleans and maintains your plumbing system and removes nasties like sludge and buildup, even grease! The amazing part is it is naturally derived and contains only water, minerals, amino acids and vitamins. It is not heavily chemical scented at all because it contains no chemicals! Mr Green, himself, Bob, is in this video talking about how safe Mr. Green products are.
Mr. Green’s PDT is so easy to use. Simply pour down the drain and that’s it! I used the 1 L bottle to do my shower and my kitchen sink drain. Those are the two biggest issues in my home. In fact, we have had a plumber out every year at least once to snake the kitchen drain and the shower fills up as you take a shower it is so clogged.
My Thoughts on Mr. Green’s PDT:
The Pros:
So many pros! It is simple to use, it actually works, too. My shower drain that I used to have to plunge after a shower no longer fills up and it has been more than a month since I poured the Mr. Green’s PDT down that drain. I have tried every chemical drain cleaner on the market and it works for a very short time, a week tops. No chemical smell and no worry!
The Cons:
It is a bit watery, which is deceiving, as it works very well. I would prefer it to have a pleasant scent of some sort. I wish the bottle was a bit bigger and maybe came with hash marks to show the ML inside since it asks you to measure out a certain amount for maintenance.
The Verdict:
5 out of 5 stars! This stuff is amazing. I just don’t think there is a better drain cleaner on the market and the fact that it is so safe and natural makes me wonder why we relied on failed chemical treatments before! Highly recommended!
