My adventure with glasses

I remember the first time I found out I was going to need glasses. I was in the 3rd grade. Can you believe I was excited? I was glad it would make me unique from my classmates as no one wore glasses.

And I wore some pretty big glasses. Give me a break. This was the Early 90′s!

I have had a love/hate relationship with glasses. I think this is because I never really knew as a kid how to pick the right ones for my face. I just picked a color I liked and went with it.

As an adult, I wear glasses daily. Contacts are too expensive for my prescription and they dry out my eyes. I have tried a lot of them and none of them are comfortable.

I have learned that the square frames tend to look good on me (at least I think so!) and I feel confident in them now-most of the time.

Glasses have to be a part of my life. Without them, I am legally blind. You know that big “E” on the top of eye charts? It’s a blob to me.

Speaking of finding the right frames, there are many eye wear stores online these days. Nothing like it was when I was a kid and there was no Internet (Did I just admit my age?!). One place I have found is GlassesUSA.com

They have a nifty tool called the “Virtual Mirror” That allows you to try on their eyeglasses so you can be sure they will look right when you get them in the mail!

GlassesUSA.com offers a wonderful deal on their prescription eyeglasses for my readers! To get 10% off your order on one pair, use the code blog10 and to take advantage of their awesome BOGO (buy one, get one) sale just use the code BOGOUSA!

It is easy to order glasses and even fun with the Virtual Mirror feature. GlassesUSA offers a wonderful 110% guarantee of the lowest price on their frames. There is also a great refer-a-friend program and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. What do you have to lose besides poor sight? :)
