It may seem strange to do a review on water, as to most people, “water is water”. In this case, it is different though.
Pure Rain is unlike other bottled waters in that it is a 4 step process to make the water as pure as possible. Most bottled waters are simply tap water. Tap water can be full of harmful things (depending on where you live) like to much floride, rust, organisms, and other nasties.
Pure Rain is about as pure as water gets. It really is just like water that you would get f you could capture rain water and drink it. Pure Rain does not touch the ground even!
I did a little experiment to see if my husband and kiddo could tell the difference between Pure Rain water, Tap Water and Bottled water. I was seriously amazed that both of them nailed which one was Pure Rain, but had a hard time deciding which was tap and which was bottled.
To do the experiment, I poured a bit of each into a glass and labeled the bottoms of them where they could not see. I made sure they were all cold and refreshing. My daughter said the Pure rain actually had a “taste”, but couldn’t really describe it other than to say it was sweeter than the rest. My husband said it was remarkably smooth.
I then thought to myself, “All this time, I have been buying bottled water thinking it was better than the tap. It turns out, in a blind taste test, there isn’t any difference.”
Pros:
Pure Rain is smooth and delicious. I love that it is the way nature intended water to be. It truly is, as my husband put it, “Remarkably smooth”.
Cons:
Pure Rain is a little hard to find. I could not find it in my local health food stores, but there is an easy form you can print out to request it at your local stores in the hopes they will carry it.
Verdict:
I love this water! I highly recommend it and wish it was more readily available in my area.
To Purchase:
Pure Rain is available in most Whole Foods stores and Central Market Stores as well as in the Austin,Texas area, with free delivery.
