StarLooks Starbox December {Review}

First, I want to start off by publicly apologizing to Sublime Media Connection and Starlooks for being so late with this review. December was a whirlwind of emotion and events. I love Starlooks and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with them for the past few months and so grateful for the December box I got! It was simply amazing!

Unless you have been under a rock or you just started reading Saved By Grace, you will know that I have reviewed for Starlooks Starbox several times and have nothing but awesome things to say about them!

The December box was a 15 shade eyeshadow palette and it was so amazingly bright! It was perfect for December because the bright colors reminded me of the magic of holiday lights. This palette was an awesome deal because it was only $15, but it is worth $99!

Starlooks Starbox {November Review}

I have done several reviews for Starlooks Starbox subscription service in the past few months. I absolutely cannot say enough about how awesome it has been to get makeup treats sent to me on a monthly basis. Just to catch you up in case you have missed my past reviews, Starlooks Starbox is a monthly subscription service that includes 3-4 full sized makeup products. It often includes extra surprises as well! The cost for this awesome service is just $15 a month!

This month, subscribers could make their boxes semi-customizable by picking their skin tone (Light, Medium and Dark). Even though I have extremely light skin, I was sent a dark one because Starlooks wanted to make sure their subscribers got the correct ones and they ran out of light before they got to their reviewers. (did I mention Starlooks really takes care of their customers? I have seen them bend over backwards!) It was no biggie since I liked the colors and thought they could go with any skin tone. I am an eyeshadow junkie!

I have to be honest, I almost leaped for joy when I saw the box itself this month. It has animal print and I LOVE animal print. :)

This month’s box contained an eyeshadow palette that contained 4 interchangeable eyeshadow colors, a creamy lipstick and a mascara guide tool.

I tried to use the mascara tool and honestly couldn’t figure out how to use it. I did, however, use the lash comb on the bottom and it worked nice to make my lashes look longer and more separated.

I loved the lipstick. It looked darker than it went on and that was a good thing. It gave my lips the perfect shade and went on so creamy, I forgot it was lipstick! It felt more like a nice gloss or lip balm! My lips felt nice and moisturized. I could see why it was named “Tender gloss lipstick”! Mine came in the shade “pearl”.

The eyeshadow palette was so much fun to play with. I could see creating a wonderful day and night look with the 4 colors- Midnight in Magnolia, Void Echo, Coffee Bean and Hint of Rust. Here is the look I create using them. I used the Coffee Bean color on my eyebrows as a brow filler. I am also wearing the lipstick as well.

If all these goodies sound awesome to you, make sure you subscribe to the December Starlooks StarBox! You will get a 15 color eyeshadow palette (a $99 value!) for JUST $15! This would make an amazing gift for the makeup fan in your life! I would also highly suggest “liking” Starlooks Starbox on Facebook for makeup tips, reviews and sneak peeks at the next month’s box!

Starlooks Starbox September box {Review}

If you have been reading my blog recently, you saw me review for Starlooks’ Starbox. I was happy to get my September box just a few days ago and I wanted to share it with you, my readers.

I cannot say enough about how great this company is as far as beauty subscription boxes go or makeup in general for that matter!

The quality of the products sent is phenomenal. I love how in each box you get 3-4 Full Sized beauty products. No samples here, ladies! Last month was a Special Edition box and this month was a very nice box as well. I got not 3, not 4, but SIX full sized products in the box!

First off, I got the FIVE color Signature Eye Shadow Palette. I loved how shimmery and light to colors were. They actually reminded me of a perfect look for the Holidays coming up. I usually don’t wear such light, shimmery colors, but when I tried them on, I had no idea why I didn’t because I think I look fantastic in them! They were very high quality and easy to apply. I loved them!

I also got the Clear Eye Shadow Primer. I have never used an eye shadow primer before, but after trying this, I will every time. The staying power of my eyeshadow was fantastic and I loved that it gave the shadow something to adhere to so none of it dusted off onto my cheeks or in my eyes throughout the day.

Last, I got some “Eye Jewelry”. These are tiny Swarovski crystals for your lashline. I didn’t try them out, mostly because I was wearing glasses the day I tried my Starlooks makeup on, but I plan on making this a fun addition to a night on the town look soon. I love the idea of this and have seen it in magazines lately. I love to try new trends.

Check out my new Starlooks look! By the way, I am also wearing last month’s lipgloss and eyeliner from Starlooks!

As mentioned before, Starlook’s Starbox is a monthly subscription service that only costs $145 if you can believe it and you get NO samples-just 3-4 full sized products. Also included in the boxes is a small quartz. I love that you can collect them and they are a sweet touch to the box. I also love how Starlooks takes extra time to wrap and box your items. They look so pretty in the neat little box they come in. I haven’t been able to part with the boxes because they are so nice.

Make sure you keep up on all that Starlooks has to offer on their Facebook page. Also, don’t forget to stop by thier website and see what each month has to offer as well as purchase all your favorites there as well. When you are a Starlooks subscriber, you get to enjoy FREE shipping on all boxes under 10 lbs and earn Star Dollars for every dollar spent that you can use to get cash off purchases!

I received the above products through Sublime Media Connection in exchange for an honest review. In no way was I asked to give a positive review.

Starlooks Starbox {Review}

As most of you know, I like to use makeup. In fact, it’s kind of a strange addiction of mine! I usually like to show the makeup I try on myself for my readers, but to be completely honest, although I tried this makeup in the Starlooks box when I first got it prior to my surgery, I never took any photos and now I really am not much up to putting on makeup at the moment due to illness. It’s not Starlook’s fault though. I LONG for the day when I can have the energy to do my makeup and “feel human” again.

Now that I have rambled on and/or complained about my situation, let me introduce you to this amazing deal!

Starlooks Starbox is a monthly subscription service where you get 3-4 FULL SIZED makeup products. The products inside are of such good premium quality! The price cannot be beat. If you took $15 to your local department store to buy premium makeup products, you would be lucky to walk out with one item let alone 3-4 full sized items!

Lets take a look inside this month’s box, which was a special edition box for Lauren Bradley.

I loved the little touches that Starlooks has. Everything from the bow on the outside to the tissue paper and wax stamped envelopes. They really make you feel special and pampered!

Inside this month’s box I found three wonderful products that were perfect for me!I got a pointed slant #844 brush, Sculpture Infinity Cream Liner and Pink Petal Rose Lip Gloss! Also included in each box is a crystal. I love the small touches Starlooks includes in their starboxes!

When I tried the Cream eyeliner in Sculpture, I have to say, I was a little nervous as I don’t usually go for this type of eyeliner. However, I found it easy to apply and pretty much foolproof! I loved how easy it was to use the brush (included) to apply the color and how wonderful the color made my eyes pop. It was a great color for both day and nightwear.

Let’s move onto the lip gloss. I loved that it was non-sticky feeling and left my lips with great color and that must sought after “dewy” look. I found the formula to be superior and had a good staying power as well.

Ladies, if you are looking for the best in deals on premium makeup, you have to get a subscription to the Starlooks Starbox! In my opinion, this is by far the best deal on makeup subscription boxes. Remember, you get 3-4 FULL-SIZED, premium products. Not just samples like other companies!
