One of my favorite warm drinks in the winter and fall is hot apple cider. I love the way it smells and I love the way it comforts me. It is often the simple things in life that remind us how much joy there is in life.
One way to enjoy your apple cider is to drink it out of an apple cup. My favorite apples to use for this endevor is Honey Chrisp ones because they are usually the largest apples and they are also very sweet and delicious.
To make an apple cup, you will simply need an apple, a knife and some apple cider.
Start by hollowing out the apple. Use a knife to get it started and use a spoon to hollow it out completely. Make sure you get all the seeds.
You should leave about 1/3 of an inch around and make sure not to go too close to the bottom. This will ensure you have a solid cup and no leaks.
Fill with hot apple cider and add a cinnomon stick if you like for garnish. The funnest part of this is getting to eat your cup afterwards. I find that after the hot cider has been in it, it gets extra delicious! 😉 Enjoy!
This Looks like fun, I will have to give it a shot.
