I am not afraid to admit it. I suffer from something many women are ashamed of, especially after having children or in old age-incontinence.
As far back as I can remember, I have had incontinence problems. As a child, I wasn’t a bed wetter, but I did have trouble getting to the bathroom in time and had a lot of daytime accidents well past potty training age. It seemed to get worse when puberty hit. I would laugh too hard-pee, sneeze-pee, cough-pee and even pee when I ran. Gym was always embarrassing for me. Having colds was a nightmare.
I remember one time, I was at a club for a night of dancing and I sneezed and it was like the floodgates opened. I had completely wet myself! I was very grateful I had worn a sweatshirt that night as I made my exit with it tied around my waist.
It wasn’t until after the birth of my daughter that I sought help for my problem. It was getting to the point where I had to wear incontinence pads daily and even then, I would go through pairs of panties and jeans all day. It was intolerable. Come to find out, I actually had a seriously prolapsed bladder that I was probably born with. I had a bladder sling put in surgically (which honestly is causing me other problems now, but I won’t get into that). The Urologist told me after seeing my tests, my bladder was as weak as most 80 year old women. I was only 24 at the time.
For a year or so, it worked decently well. I still had accidents occasionally, but less frequently than before. I got back on medications and they somewhat help, as they did before, but I still have some issues with frequency and urgency as well as small leakage. I went back to pads, unfortunately. I imagine this will be a lifelong issue I will face.
Now that you know all about my bladder, I want to tell you about a product I was very grateful to review. Wearever makes these wonderful incontinence panties. They have a built in liner that protects against mild to medium leakage. This was a huge change for me from wearing the pantyliner type pads I was used to. I was pleasantly surprised at how they didn’t feel bulky like the pads tend to.
The panties also have an odor proofing in the liner as well. I did not notice an odor and was very impressed with how well they protected against this embarrassing leakage. I would imagine these would also be great for women who are having light menstrual days as well.
The panties themselves are well made and are not ugly as one might expect. I found the Wearever Smooth and Silky Seamless panties to be extremely comfortable and undetectable under trousers and dresses. They are a modern cut and look very nice as do not ride up.
The band on the Wearever Smooth and Silky Seamless Panty was very comfortable. It did not “cut in” and stayed in place all day.
I also tried the Wearever Women’s Lovely Lace Trim Panty. I thought these we so cute and feminine. As with the other Wearever incontinence panties, they had the non-bulky feeling, the built in odorless liner and fit nice and did not ride up.
These Wearever incontinence panties really do give me hope that I can live a more normal life and not worry about my bladder issues as much. I love that they are easily washable and are durable with no liners to mess with and best of all, no more pads. The pads can cost a lot over time and buying these would save a lot of money.
Wearever also sells diabetic socks and I tried a pair from Buster and Brown. As you may know, I am a diabetic and because of this, I suffer from swelling feet and ankles. Diabetic socks are designed to fit looser in the ankle area to allow better circulation. Take a peek at this picture I took of my poor swollen feet once:
Here I am wearing the Buster and Brown diabetic socks from Wearever:
There are many styles of Wearever incontinence panties and even men’s incontinence briefs and boxers.
On that note, I just want to say, don’t be ashamed if you have the problem of urinary incontinence. It is probably more common that you know. It is nothing you can help, but you can make yourself feel more confident with a pair of Wearever incontinence panties.
I love that the underwear look so pretty and stylish. Great find

Bravo to you, some ladies might of felt embarrassed to do a post like this. I dont know why, its just a part of life, we will all have our stages. After having 4 kids its been one of mine. The only thing the dr would say is to do kegels. I do them alllll the time and stop/ start the stream in the bathroom. Nothing has helped. When I was pregnant with my last one I sworn my water broke, nope just peed myself LMAO. I love that these are cute panties, I thought poise pads were the only choice I had besides a full blown diaper, which I am sooo not ready for LOL. Thanks for bringing light to this sometimes embarrassing moment.

Thanks for commenting Veronica. I did kegals for years as well and never saw results. I know how frustrating this can be.
I am impressed with how honest you are in this review - that was so brave of you! I am very glad to hear that you found a great product to help you with this issue.
