I’m just going to come out and say it; there is an overwhelming amount of blogging conferences out there. While most of them have some pretty wild guest speakers and lots of attendees and glamorous events going on, I have always had my eye on one specific event: ShiftCon.

Now, while this may be because I am in the niche of a green and healthy living bloggers, and let’s face it, as a green and healthy living blogger, we have our work cut out for us. After all, changing the world and creating discussions on hard hitting topics of the environment can present itself to be quite a challenge. On top of that, it has been my experience that us green bloggers often find that we sometimes just don’t fit a lot of the mainstream ideas, campaigns and projects as others do. So, if you are new to blogging in the greenosphere, or you are trying to decide on a conference to attend very soon, here are my thoughts on why every green blogger should attend ShiftCon 2016 on December 1, 2 and 3rd! Why Every Blogger Should Attend ShiftCon 2016

You will get to meet bloggers in your niche on a larger scale- Green bloggers come in all levels. This means some bloggers like myself are mid-shade green, meaning I am not huge on pressing green living as a rigid thing, but more of a thing we could all take steps to do for what we are passionate about and bloggers that might be new to green living. Either way, you won’t have to wade through a crowd of thousands to find someone in your niche.

JP Sears will be there- If you haven’t watched any of JP Sear’s videos, you definitely should. He is absolutely hilarious and I am so excited to get the chance to hear him talk as well as meet him.

There is a great expo just for bloggers like us- When wading through companies and opportunities in the blogosphere, it can often feel like there isn’t much of a way for us to connect with the companies we want to for ourselves and our audience. At ShiftCon, the entire expo is geared towards green and healthy living companies and you are sure to pick up some great connections with brands that are like-minded.

You will learn from industry leaders on issues that are important for you and your readers- ShiftCon’s entire agenda is about bloggers and green living. That means that you will have an entire conference packed full of valuable information to spark ideas and conversations within your niche and on your blog as well as learn some things that can help you advance your business. I am most excited to learn more about videos and how to use them to build my brand as well as food trends.

It’s in New Orleans- I am so excited to be going to New Orleans. The city is full of rich history and with three days there, I will have plenty of time to explore it. The conference is to be held at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. More location information can be found on ShiftCon’s website.

There are fitness events- Yoga is a big thing for me and ShiftCon has a yoga session on one of the mornings as well as another fitness event planned for another.

I have a ShiftCon 2016 discount code to offer my readers-Are you as excited as I am about attending ShiftCon 2016? I have a code you can use to get $50 off your blogger conference pass. Just go to register for ShiftCon and use the code VSAVEDBYGRACE .
