The Skin Regime-Boot Camp For Beautiful Skin

I have been blessed with pretty great skin in my youth, but as I hit into my 30′s I noticed some skin issues that did not make me very happy. I used to have even skin tone and hardly any blemishes, unless it was “that time of the month” and even then, it was maybe 1 single pimple. I used to get compliments on my “flawless skin” and even skin tone.

What I started noticing was the breakouts were happening more often, my skin started to have blotchiness, and it was not as smooth as it once was. I scoured websites looking for was to make my skin behave again and found all sorts of conflicting info. Why does my skin hate me now?

I was happy to review the book by Dana Ramos, “The Skin Regime: Boot Camp For Beautiful Skin“. Dana also sent me a peel to try out as well from her skin care collection. I have not had too much experience with peels or masks as I have mostly had no skin issues all my life, other than the occasional acne or oily spots and was relieved when it came with step by step information on how to prepare my skin for the peel and how to treat it post-peel. Unfortunately, my camera was on the fritz when I did the peel, so I was unable to get a good picture of a before and after, but let me say, I loved how clean my skin felt. It was literally like a weight was lifted off my face. I felt cleaner than any other product had ever made me feel. I also noticed it didn’t dry me out the way I thought it might. It was such a luxurious feeling, and so very refreshing!

The book, “The Skin Regime: Boot Camp For Beautiful Skin” was so wonderful to read. Dana has an amazing way of explaining things and relating to people. I was surprised by some of the tips for healthy skin I had not really considered. It also goes into every detail about what products to use and how to create new skin from head to toe! I loved that there was even some tips for healthier hair and those dry spots we all have- mine are my elbows.

What I loved most about the book was it was all-inclusive. It talks about how to not just keep acne at bay, but how to make your skin have that healthy glow and even what kinds of ingredients to look for in makeup. I really loved how the book wasn’t like many books about skin care. It talked to people of all ages (not just teenagers and not just those with aging issues) and varying levels of skin problems.

I highly suggest all women check out this book and the other products on Dana’s website as there is so much information that is valuable no matter your skin issues. Create new skin with Dana Ramos’ book and peels!

I have the same issue. I used to have great skin, and the past couple of years it has just become embarrassing! As I right this I have a couple areas of breakout on my face and I hate it!! It is my job to be in front of people so I am really self conscious about how my face looks. I’m going to have to check this out!! Thanks!
