With so many people, including myself, making healthy habits a part of their resolutions, it is funny for me to be making a post about a candy.
How can candy be healthier for you?!
It can if it is UnReal!
I reviewed for UnReal in the past and I loved most of it when I tried it. UnReal Candy is similar to your favorite candy bars, but without a lot of the junk that comes with them. UnReal Candy contains none of the following ingredients:
- Corn Syrup
- Partially Hydrogenated oils
- Artificial ingredients
- GMOs
- Preservatives
I love how these candy bars are low glycemic. As a diabetic, this is very important, but it is also important to those concerned with sugar intake in any way as well.
There are several varieties of UnReal Candy Bars. UN54 is like Peanut M &Ms, UN41 is like chocolate M & Ms, UN5 is like Milky Way, UN8 is like Snickers, and UN77 is like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. I was sent some of each to try and I definitely have my favorites.
Pros:
Nothing fake in these candy bars! I love how low glycemic they are and how some of the varieties taste almost better than their brand name counterparts. My favorites were the UN77, UN8 and UN5. I honestly thought UN77 was like a gourmet version of it’s Brand name counter part.
Cons:
I actually didn’t like UN54 or UN 41. I thought they tasted so different from what I loved about their brand name versions. I really don’t like semi-sweet or bitter chocolate and these tasted bitter to me. I also did not like the coating on them. My husband liked them, however.
Verdict:
I was pleasantly surprised by how well they mimic the brand name candies and mostly taste better. I would recommend these if you are looking for a sweet treat without all the fake stuff that can come with many popular candy bars.
To Purchase:
UnReal is available at many popular retail stores such as Walgreen’s, Fred Meyer’s, Micheal’s and Kroger. Check them out on Facebook as well!
